Business vehicle and van insurance

Business Vehicle and Van Insurance

Keeping your business on the road

Sole trader or company.
What’s the difference?

However you use your vehicle, we’ve got you covered. Pick the option that fits you to make sure you’re getting the right kind of business vehicle insurance.

Sole trader

You’re the owner (or owners) but there’s no legal difference between you and your business. So you registered the vehicle in your name. This means you’ll need sole trader cover.

Company

You’re a director of your company. So when you bought a vehicle, you registered it in your company’s name. For this, you’ll need company cover.

Why do I need Business Vehicle Insurance?

You'll need Business Vehicle and Van Insurance if you use your van for any kind of work reasons, like driving to and from a job site or using it to help run your small business.

The van can be registered in your company's name or, if you're a sole trader, registered in your own name.

We want you to be completely confident your policy covers everything you need it to.
