InsureTV: Sustainability Conference

While world leaders gather in Egypt for the annual climate summit COP 27, you can expect climate action and the future of energy to be front of mind in the coming weeks.

Our own Global Corporate Specialty (GCS) Renewables team joined the InsureTV sustainability conference earlier this week, sharing their expert views on the future of insuring renewable energy.

The energy that we insure is enough to offset approximately 26.8 million tonnes of carbon dioxide annually, so it’s a significant amount.

Melanie Carter, Senior Renewables Underwriter at Aviva.

In a 121 interview, Aviva’s Melanie Carter highlighted our core appetite and ambition to be a sustainable leader in the renewables market, as well as explaining the current challenges to the renewable energy market caused by the supply chain and economic issues.
