Introducing our newly formed Centres of Excellence

Our centralised services consist of our innovation hub providing prevention solutions, our systems which support the evolution of our client engagement proposition, our training capability both internally and externally and the management of risk improvements across the portfolios that we support, including impairment management.

Why is innovation important?

Innovation is critical in today’s constantly evolving world with the rise of new technology, the impacts of climate change and the transition to a more sustainable future. Our Prevention Solutions team are focused on delivering new tools and solutions for our customers to make sure that we meet the exposures of today and the risks of tomorrow, such as;

• Piloting the latest innovations via our Specialist Partner Network
• Developing generative AI (artificial intelligence) solutions
• Continuing to improve this website and grow our library of resources
• Investing in technology, such as our in-house drone fleet and virtual risk management

What are we working on in 2025?

We have some exciting developments underway including the launch of our Aviva Risk Insight Risk Management Portal, providing you with a simple and easy way to manage your risk management data online. You will be able to track risk improvements, securely view risk surveys and access our risk management resources in one place. We’re also preparing for the launch of our new microlearning platform, Aviva Risk Training Solutions (ARTS), in partnership with global operation technology leader SafetyCulture, which offers you free access to our library of courses, covering pre-defined learning pathways based on areas of risk such as property, liability, motor and cyber. All the courses have been created by our risk management experts and help you to track the completion of courses.

How are we investing in our capability for the future?

We’ll continue investing in new services and solutions to make sure we remain at the forefront in terms of our risk management capability with a current focus on what generative AI can provide for you, in a safe way, and our own teams to create efficiency in our everyday so that we can do more for you.

Succession is critical in today’s world, so we've set up our Risk Consultants of the Future Programme for our Associates and Centre of Prevention Consultants to make sure we deliver consistency of service for years to come. Our Technical Development Leader will drive this programme, continually developing our teams, whilst providing the latest in education to you to help drive understanding and the latest best practice loss prevention.
