Further crime activity impacting critical infrastructure across the country
We’ve received further intel alerts notifying us of crime activity impacting critical infrastructure across the country over the past month, and one of the hot spots remains the eastern side of the UK. Here, there has been a continuing increase in all types of infrastructure crime including cable theft, fuel theft and theft of tools and plant. For further information on how to manage this risk, please take a look at our related Loss Prevention Standards:
Our Specialist Partner in this area, Selectamark, provides various Forensic DNA marking products which help reduce the likelihood of theft, act as a deterrent and enable improved traceability of stolen materials.
