Electrical Equipment Testing
Bureau Veritas can support you with electrical equipment testing. The safety of electrical systems and equipment is governed by the Electricity at Work Regulations and Health and Safety Executive guidance HSG 107 which state that portable electric appliances must be maintained as often as every week, dependent on circumstances. Electrical appliances deteriorate over time due to wear and tear, mechanical damage, overheating, environment and inadequate maintenance.

Thermographic Inspections
Bureau Veritas can support you with thermographic inspections. Electrical system failures such as the failure of electrical insulation, terminals and related components can lead to fires, excessive power usage, increased maintenance costs and expensive unscheduled outages which can pose a risk to employees. If serious failure occurs, people could be exposed to live electrical circuits.
This non-intrusive technology sees faults that the human eye cannot see with distribution boards, control panels, electric motors and any component using electricity without the need to turn the power off.
