If you need to make a claim, you can get the process started online.

If a policyholder has died, and you need to  notify us regarding their pension, just fill in this form and a member of our claims team will be in touch with yourself or the beneficiary, to let you know what happens next.

Details of deceased's next of kin and estate

Pension claims are usually paid at the discretion of Aviva as the scheme administrator.  The following questions help us work out who the beneficiary(ies) of the claim may be.

You might have one or more legal documents(s). This could include:

• A Grant of Representation, which is a general term use to describe documents like a Grant of Probate, Certifcate of Confirmation, or Letters of Administration.

• A valid Will, which is a document that has been signed and witnessed by two people.

Does the deceased have a husband, wife or civil partner who's still alive?
