What is it?
The Stress Counselling helpline is a third party service that offers the chance to talk in confidence to trained counsellors about issues that are troubling you.
The helpline can be a good place for you to get help with personal or work-related stress issues. Talking and sharing can be the first step in helping to work through problems and resolve them.
How is it helpful?
Stress can develop when you feel that you're having difficulty with the demands and expectations you face. This is where the Stress Counselling helpline can offer support.
Early intervention can help
The best time to get confidential help is as soon as possible – and the helpline could make it easier for you to do this. Allowing issues to build over time can create bigger problems down the line.
It’s good to talk
Use the helpline to talk to trained counsellors about the issues that are troubling you, safe and secure in the knowledge that all conversations are confidential.
The service is available to members aged 16 or over.
How can I access the helpline?
The Stress Counselling helpline is free to use, 24/7, all year round. Call 0800 092 3189 for a confidential chat with a trained counsellor (available to members aged 16 or over).
For joint protection, telephone calls may be recorded and/or monitored. Calls to 0800 numbers from UK landlines and mobiles are free.
