Convenient, accessible and simple to use, the Aviva Digital GP app effectively gives you a GP in your pocket.
Provided by Square Health, the app provides access to unlimited GP video consultations per member over the age of 16, and repeat NHS prescriptions (all NHS England exemptions accepted) with free UK delivery – all at the touch of a button. The service is provided at no additional cost to Aviva health insurance customers. Aviva Digital GP is a non-contractual benefit that can be changed or withdrawn at any time. Please therefore check all of the relevant Terms and Conditions that apply and the Privacy Policy – these can be viewed in-app before you sign up. Mobile data charges may apply.
What’s included in Aviva Digital GP?
Aviva Digital GP puts you in touch with a package of help and support, including guidance from a private GP via the easy-to-use smartphone app. You’ll have access to all these services:
When time matters, this app helps
Video consultations can help save time, with no need to visit your GP surgery. You could have an appointment in as little as 30 minutes – and they can be booked 24/7.
Most appointments are available on the same day. Your video consultation with your selected GP will last for up to 15 minutes.
GP choice
You’ll be offered both male and female GPs to select from. You can also choose to search for a GP whom you’ve previously seen via the app within the last six months.
You can also review GP's biographies and select the one who best suits your needs, based on their profile.
Repeat NHS prescriptions
You can order prescribed repeat medication within the app (all NHS England exemptions accepted) and get free UK delivery.
Private prescription delivery service
If you wish, you can choose to have medication delivered to your home, your place of work, or another nominated location. Alternatively, you can simply opt to collect it from your local pharmacy. Whilst we will not charge for the provision of a private prescription, privately prescribed medication will be subject to a charge and this will be payable directly to the dispensing pharmacy.
Your children under 16
If you have any children under 16 you can add them to your account for paediatric consultations, with a limit of up to 10 children per member. Your consultation allowance can be shared with children added to your account.
Consultation Advice
After your GP consultation, you’ll be able to see the advice you have been given and view your consultation history within the app.
Child only policy
If you have a policy that only covers children under 16, you will need to email avivawellbeinghelp@aviva.com with the parent or guardian’s full name and date of birth so that registration access can be granted and the children added to the account.
Register for swift GP services on your device
Download the Aviva Digital GP app from the App Store or Google Play (mobile data charges may apply). Terms and conditions and the privacy policy for Aviva Digital GP can be viewed in-app before signing up.
Click register, complete the short in-app registration form and use your Access Number 129139 to activate your account.
The registration process is similar to other apps that maintain security and confidentiality around your personal details. You'll be asked to enter a few personal details. The rest is straightforward, and you can expect an email asking you to validate your email address to complete your registration.
Please share your Access Number with your insured dependants over the age of 16 so they can register too.
