What are CO2 and CO2e emissions?
CO2 emissions refer to the release of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere. It’s a greenhouse gas that is released into the Earth’s atmosphere. CO2e (carbon dioxide equivalent) includes all greenhouse gases.
How do we calculate your CO2e emissions?
The mileage you’ve driven is multiplied by a factor based on the fuel type and engine size of your vehicle.
For battery electric vehicles and hybrids, the factors account for any emissions from the electricity to charge the battery.
